Maximum Golf

00Maximum Golf is a golf swing training program that is designed to increase flexibility and strengthen and train the golf muscles.  There are warmup, stretching, balance exercises in addition to swing drills.   In twenty-nine years, over 1500 golfers have been through the program and because of their success, many repeat the program each winter.  It's spring training for the new season.  As of 2013 the course has been upgraded to include the ideas and learning techniques researched in the book, "The Talent Code" by Daniel Coyle.  This is ground breaking information that substantiates how valide Maximum Golf is as a learning tool but we will add some things to make it even better.


 

Classes

There are 36 exercises and drills that make up each class.   The basic fundamentals of grip, stance and posture are reviewed, as well as the basic swing motions needed to produce excellent shots.  Each drill is designed to improve a particular part of the golf swing. When doing the swing drills, a small weight is added to the club to make the golfer work harder. More repetitions of each drill are done each week. After the first two weeks we will spend 5 to 10 minutes at the end of each class on short game fundamentals. Each class meets 55 to 60 minutes, twice a week, for six weeks.

The cost for the six week session is $160.00 for McConnell Center members and $185.00 for non-members.
